Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of this website. They are written to be read, not to be survived — plain language about what this site is, what a quote from it means, and what it does not promise.

Who these terms are between
This website is published by Dobie Transport LLC, a logistics company based in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, formed in 2020. In these terms, "Dobie", "we" and "us" mean Dobie Transport LLC; "you" means anyone who visits this site, submits a form on it, or contacts us through a phone, text, WhatsApp or email link published on it.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What Dobie does, and what that means for you
Dobie coordinates transportation. We match your vehicle, equipment or freight to a carrier from a vetted network and stay accountable to you as the single point of contact for that move. On many shipments the truck that shows up belongs to an independent motor carrier operating under its own authority and its own insurance, not to Dobie.
That distinction matters when you read anything on this site. Statements about coverage, transit times, equipment and border procedures describe how the work is coordinated; the legally binding terms of an actual shipment are the ones in the transport order, rate confirmation and bill of lading for that specific load, together with the assigned carrier's own terms. Where this website and those documents disagree, those documents govern.
Quotes are estimates until they are confirmed
A price you receive through the quote wizard, by text, by WhatsApp, by email or over the phone is an estimate based on the information available at that moment: the origin and destination you gave us, the description and condition of what is moving, the dates, and the equipment the move appears to need.
An estimate is not a booking and does not reserve capacity. A shipment becomes a commitment when we confirm it in writing and you accept it. A price can change before that point, and after it if the facts change — for example:
- The vehicle, machine or freight is not as described, is a different size or weight, or is non-running when it was quoted as running
- The pickup or delivery address is not reachable by the equipment quoted, or access is restricted
- Dates move, or the load is not ready or not released when the truck arrives
- Permits, escorts or route restrictions apply that were not apparent from the original description
- Cross-border documentation is incomplete, which stops the load rather than slowing it
What we need from you
When you request a quote or book a shipment, you are telling us that the information you give is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to ship what you are shipping, and that you will provide the documents the move requires — title, release, bill of sale, customs paperwork or anything else the route asks for.
Do not ship anything inside a vehicle or piece of equipment without telling us first, and do not use this site or our services for anything unlawful.
How we contact you
When you submit a form or message us, you agree that Dobie may contact you about that request by phone, text message and WhatsApp at the number you provided, and by email at the address you provided. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can stop these messages at any time by telling us so in the same channel, or by writing to sales@dobie-transport.com.
The guides on this site are information, not advice
This site publishes explanatory material: how U.S.–Mexico crossings work, what a pedimento or a Complemento Carta Porte is, what federal cargo-securement rules require, what a limited-quantity hazmat package looks like, what a lowboy or an RGN is for. It is written carefully and reviewed by our logistics team, and it is still general information about how the industry operates.
It is not legal, customs, tax, insurance or regulatory advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed customs broker, an attorney or your own compliance team. Regulations change and a rule that applies to one commodity, route or crossing may not apply to yours. Do not treat a page on this site as a determination about your shipment.
Photographs and reviews
Photographs presented as our work are photographs of real Dobie shipments, and their captions describe only what is visible in them. Some pages also use licensed stock photography for illustration; those images are never presented as a Dobie load. Customer reviews reproduced on this site are real reviews, shown verbatim.
A photograph of a past shipment is an example, not a promise about yours. It does not represent a guaranteed route, equipment type, transit time or result.
Content and trademarks
The text, photographs, layout, code and design of this site belong to Dobie Transport LLC or are used under licence. You may read, print and share pages for your own use, including sending a page to a colleague or a customer. You may not republish, resell or scrape the content, or present it as your own.
The Dobie Transport name and logo are ours. Other names and marks that appear on the site belong to their owners and are used to describe equipment, regulations or services, not to imply any endorsement.
Links and third-party services
Some pages link out to other sites, and some site features are provided by third parties — the address autocomplete in our forms, the messaging apps our buttons open, the analytics that measure page visits. We do not control those services or the sites we link to, and including them is not an endorsement of their content or their practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Availability and changes
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or current at every moment. Pages, prices, service areas and published material can change without notice, and we may add, alter or remove parts of the site at any time.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dobie Transport LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on general information published here. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects the terms that govern an actual shipment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes about this website are subject to the courts of the State of Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes, and the updated version applies from the moment it is published. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the updated terms.
