Build Your Career Moving What Others Cannot
Dobie Transport moves vehicles and heavy equipment across the U.S. and into Mexico. We hire people who own their results and want the phone to ring.
Roles We Are Hiring For
Every position below is accepting applications. What you send goes straight to Dobie, not into a job-board queue.
Who We Are Before You Apply
Dobie Transport LLC is a founder-led logistics company based in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. Manuel and Krystal built it after 16+ years inside the industry — as dispatchers routing trucks and as freight brokers matching loads — and today the company coordinates vehicle transport, heavy equipment hauling and U.S.–Mexico cross-border moves through a network of 465+ vetted carriers across all 50 states. That is the company you would be joining: founder-led, so your work is visible, with enough road behind it that the work is real.
What You Actually Get Here
No stock photos, no ping-pong tables. These are the things that are true about working at a founder-led border logistics company.
Founder-Led
Dobie is run by the people who built it. When a decision is needed, whoever can make it is close to the work.
Real Book of Business
465+ vetted carriers, all 50 states and live cross-border lanes into Mexico. You are not cold-starting a market — the freight already moves.
Bilingual by Default
English and Spanish are both working languages here. Speaking Spanish is an asset that pays off every day on this border, not a checkbox on a form.
Clear Scoreboard
Logistics keeps its own receipts: loads booked, response time, on-time delivery. The work leaves a trail, so the conversation is about numbers, not impressions.
Room to Build
The playbooks you write, the process you design and the people you develop stay in the business after you.
Work That Matters
Freight does not wait. Somebody is waiting on that excavator, that truck, that load at the border — what you quote is a real machine on a real trailer, not a line item.
Who Does Well Here
You will do well if…
- You answer fast. In this business the first honest quote usually wins.
- You are comfortable owning a number and reporting it without being asked.
- You would rather fix a problem than document who caused it.
- You can hold a customer, a carrier and a driver in your head at the same time.
- You want more responsibility than your title strictly requires.
- You are steady when a load, a border or a customer goes sideways.
You will not enjoy this if…
- You need a fully written process before you can start moving.
- You want a role where nobody notices whether you delivered this week.
- Spending most of the day on the phone is not how you want to work.

Candidate Questions
Do I need transportation or logistics experience to apply?
It depends on the role. Every position lists its requirements plainly and separates what is required from what only helps. When a role says experience is a plus but not a requirement, that is exactly what it means — apply.
Do I need to speak both English and Spanish?
Dobie works both sides of the border every day, so Spanish is an advantage here. Each role lists what it actually requires: if a language is not in the required list, it is not a requirement.
Where are these jobs located?
Dobie Transport is based in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. Work location and setup are one of the first things we cover on the call, so nobody wastes a week.
Do I need a resume to apply?
Not to start. The application asks for the information that actually predicts fit, and you can send a resume or your LinkedIn afterwards by WhatsApp or email if you want to add to it.
How long does the process take?
A person at Dobie reads every application and replies either way — we do not leave applications sitting. If your profile fits, the next step is a call about the work.
Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes. Apply to each role you want separately so your answers match the position you are being considered for.
What happens to the information I send?
It goes to the people at Dobie who make the hiring decision, and we use it to consider you for this role and future openings. We do not sell it and we do not publish it. It is stored in the tools we use to run hiring.
