What Triggers a Permit
The loaded dimensions — machine plus trailer — are what get measured. A 9′-wide excavator is oversize in every state; a machine that is legal on a lowboy may be over-height on a step deck. This is why exact specs, not brochure numbers, are collected at quoting.

A Texas permit does not cover Oklahoma.
