The Blade Question
A D6-class dozer runs roughly 10–13′ wide with the blade on — permitted width in every state. Removing the blade can bring the machine near legal width and cut permit scope, at the cost of loading labor at both ends. We run both numbers and recommend the cheaper total, not the easier dispatch.

Full-size dozers almost always exceed 8′6″ in width with the blade mounted, so yes — permits in every state crossed. Compact dozers can sometimes stay legal.
Should the blade come off for transport?
Sometimes. Blade-off can reduce or eliminate width permits but adds labor and equipment at both ends. We compare total costs and recommend accordingly.
How heavy a dozer can you move?
