What Is Door-to-Door Auto Transport?

Door-to-door vehicle transport means the carrier picks up and delivers as close as safely and legally possible to the requested locations.

"As close as safely and legally possible" is the operative phrase: a 75′ car hauler cannot enter every cul-de-sac or apartment complex. When the street works, the carrier comes to the driveway; when it does not, the driver arranges a nearby wide spot — a supermarket lot, a wide intersection — minutes away.

Door-to-door is the standard model for vehicle shipping today (the alternative, terminal-to-terminal, adds storage stops and handling). All Dobie vehicle transport is door-to-door.
